RE: Favorite Ground beef recipes, any new ones?
This recipe has been posted before, but since I have it in the crock pot right now, I thot I would re-post it, (sorry if it's a recent repeat).
Taco Soup
2 cups water
1-2 pounds browned ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 pkg.(Dry mix) original Ranch Dressing
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
Add the following without draining
1 can beans (kidney, black, pinto-whatever kind you like)
1 can chili with beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 can diced green chilies
1 can whole corn
Mix all ingredients together in a crock pot. Cook for 2 hours on High, or 6 hours on low. Use a crock pot liner for easy clean up.

We are home safe and sound. It was another great Rally! Thank you Judy and Ray for all your efforts! It was good to meet new people and catch up with dear old friends!
Of course the highlight was seeing Lee, Shelia and Brianna :B, even if it was only on a teeny, tiny screen :(! Maybe next year you guys will be there in person!

My DH is at SAL safe and sound. I will leave tomorrow after work. I should be there before dinner. If not, Jill will you save me a morsel?:p
Sherry very happy your brother is doing better and sorry you have caught a "bug". No fun! Guess you will have to go to SAL and drink, uh, take your "medicine".
We will all miss those who can't be there. Hope to see you in Feb.!

Karl, I too appreciate the fact you take the time to post your favorite recipes. I don't always have time to go to other sites to look for new ones. Keep trying them and posting your favorites. Especially the crock pot ones! I LOVE those. Do you ever try any recipes that call for 5 or less ingredients? Those are the kind I would like to see more of, hint, hint! :W Thank you again.

Hi Everyone,
We have had a slight change for this weekend. Steve and the MH will probably still be there Thurs. night, but I won't be there until Friday evening. A dear friend has a family emergency and has asked me to sub for her for awhile. So starting Tuesday I will be a working gal for a bit. Keep your fingers crossed I don't get lost, LOL. Oh and if I am not there by midnight would you send out "search and rescue"? :R

Thank you for all the tips. I never knew about the hand lotion trick to remove that sticky stuff. That has always been a pet peeve of mine. And yes I believe Avon does now have their own repellant.

Lee, you never worry me a bit!(I may worry ABOUT you :W) I think you are kinda special too! Have some good times in MB. Get some new potluck recipes for us and take pictures! You three know there will always be a light on for you here. Always.
It is cloudy here today and we may have RAIN this weekend and a chance of snow in the high sierras. Boy when the weather changes, it changes! But we are NOT complaining, love the cooler days!
